Start 8:55am., at "Restaurant Cazare Clasic", in Sebes.
5c, allm. overcast and l. wind.
Finish 14:20pm. At Sugag city sign.10c, rain and no wind.

Stopped 14km before the planned finish at Tau Bistra as heavy rain was coming in over the mountain valley I was running in. Advice from locals was that the next shelter option would be some 40km up ("Tau: no. Nothing !"). The carefull choice: to swallow the pride and hold for theday. No enviroment to be "Smart" in :-)

The village had a hotel, that is, they are building a hotel. I then became the first guest ! I tried to explainwhere denmark was, but they settled for that it probably was England ;-) Very nice and v. quiet people who kept excusing the unfinished conditions - yet compared w. a freezing tent (its cold up here) it was a warm paradise that only lacked towels. What can you expect for 15usd. ? Much less than this :-))

A little fun/odd thing:
Yesterday as I headed into Sebes there were a huge cemetary at citylimits. With a new x-large camper parked a ways in betweenthe white stones and dark metal crosses. Why ??!!
(Dracula might not be such a myth afterall.. ;-) Or it could be the Romanian open friendliness thatI have become to cherish: keeping a warm camper standby just in case someone should return !

Whatever it was I hope god is the only one who knows... ;-]
