Start 08:45am. At cross of Heinastie and Kotimaentie in Siikajaervi. 14c, clear and no wind. Alt. 155m, 1004hPa.
Finish 13:20pm. At "100km Turku" on E18. 16c, overcast and same. Alt. 72m, 1006hPa.

A nice run where Sarah obviously had some pace left from the 2mile race yesterday in Helsinki ! Most of the stage she kept a speed of around 5min/km (12km/hour) and the Soumi team runners and myself had to hold on as good as we could. Luckily she eased off on the pace the last 10km..
But still a very impressive effort considering the fast 2mile race yesterday wich does not go easy on the legs when there is around 1700km in them :-)

We were invited to stay at the home of one of the most impressive and also most friendly ultrarunners I know; Seppo Leionen !!
Amongs many other achievements he has completed 16 Sparthathlon races (246km) - more than any other runner :-)

It was a Priveleague to stay at your house, Seppo !! And an evening and afternoon we will not forget for a long time :-)) .. Enjoyable to also meet his running club inLohja and jog a 8km evening session w. them in their pineforrest trail on wonderfull soft paths. Great for sore tarmac-legs !
