Reino and Parvo !

A nice stage into Helsinki, Finlands capital w. good companyalong the way; both by several Endurence Team Finland runners (amongst them Esa :-), Reino as support team and a reporter from Vo2-sports tv running with us part of the way.

The finish point: Parvo Nurmis statue in front of the Helsinki Olympic stadium - my only running 'idol' - since beeing a young recreational runner batteling w. 5 and 10km.

But the main thing today was still something else: the last day with Reino !!
I could write a lot about his outstanding support, sponsoring a luxus support-car for 1month fron North to South through Finland, his strong financial support, his running w. us, crewing for us, etc.
But at the end of the day and month one thing overshines all: his Friendship. Silently smiling. Small conversations about running, Finlandand the sport of ultrarunning that we share. Like a hand on the shoulder encouraging to allways run on !!!
