Finish 16:59pm. at "Rovaniemi 130km" on E75 in Söderkulla. 22c, half overcast and l. wind. Alt. 230m., 986hPa.

Catching up !
Today we ran another 60km stage and reatched the town Soderkülla late afternoon. Thus having caught up 1 day on our scedule two weeks into the run - it could be worse :-)

We will use the extra day as a 'coushion'for hard days perhaps in Sweden where we mostlikely will have to use the stroller for running w. our baggage. We will make sure to be back on scedule bydenmark to arrive the 24. August for the menorial marathon from Elsinore Castle to Copenhagen !

Beeing able to get 1 day in front of scedule is mostly due to the excellent support we recieve here in Finland - as the case also was in world run one where Finland was the contry of all 4 continents on the route w. the most amazing support !

By the way Reima did fine on todays 60km too !! We begin to understand the endurence background of this quiet ceo.:
Besides starting his by now 700 employee corp. back in 1973 he has crossed Finland 4 times N-S - by bike, by running, by kick-sled and kick-bike. And now by running again while maneaging his company from the mobile phone. What a boss to have and what trustworthy employees to have - one of the maneagers, Arto, is our team support w. the car this week; he describes it as a perfect place to work as they are trusted to run each factory as if it was their own!
