Finish the 28. July ?
Another day where the rain poured down, or atleast on the last part of the run. Yet I was quite pleased with the day as we got a 42km (marathon) done and the legs didnt seem to show the usual signs of deep fatigue wich has been a problem for the run the last two months since the 6day race I did down in New York. This could mean that I am ready to push up the daily distances towards normal or even attempt one of two of the longer stages of the 80-100km range. We'll see during the next week..
Reino is as ususal when visiting the world run 2 gaining strength for each day. Today he kept me company for the entire stage and also completed the marathondistance; in good style and rarely lacking more than a few steps behind. I suspect that the heavy rain reminded him of the conditions in many of his marathon races back in Finland, atleast he appeared to feel quite at home :-)
NB: I expect to reach the finish line of this second (and my last !) world run in little more than a week now. Hopefully Cape Spear at St. John's will come into sight on the 28. July. But as you will see if you look at the maps this will indeed require a few days with very long distances in the 100km-range.
