Start 09:40am., 11c, overcast & light wind, at cross of Old Orchard Rd. & hwy.16. Finish 12:33, 16c & same, at cross of Kimball Rd. & hwy.16 in Boston.

A nice day of running into Boston ! Still it will be short and carefull stages a day or two more to make sure that there is no hidden injures etc. from the 6day race last week.

But the 27km today went fine and was run in usual pace. The legs were about as fresh/tired as normal this far into world run two.

Ahead is now only about 2 months of running to the goal in New Foundland - and... only two weeks left of running in the usa !

Is has been a surprisingly tough streatch along the East Coast since the friendly roads of Florida. But Canada is right ahead now. Also I am enjoying exchanging throughts with my friend Tony Mangan from Ireland, who as I have a long history of competetion running behind him - and as me... are on his way running around the world. And while I prefered to run two laps, Tony bicycled his first and am running his second... At present on the same roads in South America which I ran about a year ago. Great memories of fantastic landscapes and fascinating cultures.

Meanwhile I need to put not only my mental strength together but also my economical skills since the extremely expensive streatch from Washington D.C. to Boston has depleted nearly all funds. And despite a very generous main sponsorship by Ecco the 'wallet is empty' now so to speak. So certainly the remaining two months will be a challenge in more than one way !

NB: Today the gps-tracking of the run went fine as usual so luckily it was one of the monthly mishaps with endomondo that made it impossible to get the tracking to work fully two days ago. I still havent found out why the system suddenly stops functioning; all have been tried - clearing the phone's memory (the program runs via the cellphone), re-starting the system etc. etc. I guess the positive is: only 2 months of hassles left ;-)
