Another long run... !!

Today the worlds largest, longest and longest-ongoing relay-run starts its North American part from New York !

I had the joy of running with one of the experiensed organizors of this huge event, Arpan, when I ran through Manhattan a few weeks back. Amazing to think of the logistics that must be in place to get a huge project like that to function.

And even more so - the positive message of understanding and accept across cultures and continents :-) Certainly something that I can appreciate both from a personal point of view, as a political scienties.. and not least as a world runner on yet another lap of running through the fascinating and friendly cultures that is to be found no matter what continent !
