Short stage blues ?
Obviously its at present a long series of short runs that I maneage to get in' !
A few explanations are possible: First of all it could be the "tired worldrunner" situation. Yet; when I was able to put in 40 and 60km stages a short while ago then it doesnt really appear to be likely.
Another reason could be that I am very low on motivation. Actually at a low-point for the entire run (and that is something; when its a 4-continent & 4 year run ;-) One part of this is that the terrain has been a bit bland since Florida and I've been unlucky not to really connect w. the running communities up along the East Cost this time across the Usa (it went fantastic back when running West-East across North America in 2005).
And then another reason could be that I have a 6day competetion coming up in about 2 weeks from now. (Its a type of race where you run as much/long as you can and typically sleep 1-4hours per day). I may want to hold back a little energy for that ! Lets hope that's the explanation :-)
- Because else there will be a long way to New Foundland in Canada where the finishpoint is.
