Start 09:45am., 22c, overcast & no wind, at km-stone "18/5005" on hwy. 50 to Bogota. Finish 13:20pm., 18c, rain & same, at km-stone "12/5006" on hwy. 50 to Bogota.

- The climb begins !

... There is a 3700m. alt. pass ahead. If all goes well this is actually the last high-altitude running I expect to have left in world run 2 as the mountain passes in North America/East Coast are all at 2500m. or below.

But 3.7km is not to be underestimated so I'll get an early night sleep here at 2500m. alt. where I am staying to once again let the body get used to the thin air of the Andes Mountains.
