Start 10:30am., 24c, overcast, humid & no wind, at white km-marker "2" on road E25. Finish 15:30pm., 37c, very humid, allmost overcast & light wind, at blue km-sign "km 530" on road E25.

Amazing. What can I say ! I have across 6 continents of running in world run 1 & 2 seldom seen such varaiety in nature.

Instead of writing a long report I'll let the pictures speak (for now ;-). If you want a bit of background on this fascinating contry please see yesterdays report, www.worldrun.org/report_day.php?day=2011-10-12 And as you can see if you look closely at todays pictures, its not a complete 'fairytale': Equador is one of the contries in Latin America which struggles the most w. enviromental issues; mainly the impact of deforestaion, mining & the hunt for oil (things which we all have a part in as long as we overuse the products where ever we live in the world). One can only hope sincerely that this "ecological mega-diversity spot" remains one of the highlights of our planet as it is now.
