A lucky excuse.. ;-)

About 20km into todays run I encountered another of the freqvent road-works which is making sure the Panamerican Highway is well paved. Atleast on the expensive streatches of "pay road".. I got my money's worth of excuses as I found the road work handy as a sign to finish the day early and head back to Mancora for a bit of carbo-loading before tomorrows stage. It whill have to make up for todays short run if I am to reach the border to Equador within 3 days from now - before my visa expires.
