Lima !!

Finally I've reached Lima after a streatch from the Chile-Peru border with unusually many "rest-days": first my 40year birthday, then the return to denmark at attend my fathers funeral, then the usual stomack-off-days' connected with running in the tropical regions of the world..

The reward was good though :-) A very nice run along the coast with the main city itself about 100meters above us as Lima has some very steep cliffs seperating the main part of the city from the ocean front and its nice beaches and surf'.

Speaking of surf then my good support-driver Pali too the oppotunity to take his first ever surfing lesson at the small beach resort where we are staying. We put up quarters there yesterday and was so thrilled by the thrilling setting with a balcony right above the beach with seagulls nearly flying into the room - who can resist to go back for one more night at such a place - or one more surf'.... ;-)
