Start 08:32am., 10c, allmost clear and l.wind, at wooden road-marker [please see endomondo track & startpic. for exact location] on mountainpass at old hwy.1 (?). Finish 12:55, 26c and same, at yellow tarmac-marker "1326.4" on hwy.5 (about 40km South of Antofagasta).

As you can see from todays pictures the small trail I have been following the last, somewhat confused, 4 days has turned out to be the right one afterall ! What a relief !! ... But also: What fantastic scenery, what intense remoteness there along the coast (and what concearn that we might be lost ;-)

Tomorrow I´ll take out the monthly restday and enjoy it at the best hotel I can find in Antofagasta ! It was hard days out there ´rough contry tenting´, pushing forward with the running, supplies getting low and wondering if the car would break down. The rest and sudden comfort will be SWEET !!!
