Santiago
[day 1 searching for a new supportcar as the old broke down].

After the supportcar stopped to work at km 20 on yesterdays run I and my supportdriver & cameraman, Alex from usa, had a 250km towtruck ride to Santiago (the run was 24km total as I ran a few kms forward and hoped for it to get started again, but ended up running back to it; a bit down in spirit).

It was ceartainly one of the most difficult days as far as optimism and determination for the run goes. And due to the last weeks problems w. the supportcar, finding a solution to not getting the running shoes through to Argentina many weeks ago, gps-system technical problems etc. I have had to let the daily reports wait a bit and put full priority to re-building my motivation, mental overview of the 17 000km ahead & not least work out new solutions to the logistics problems.

But the next few days here in Santiago Ill take time to update all the lacking reports as well as try to give a little impression of Chiles capital city and its history.

And hopefully find a reliable supportcar and the room in the budget to buy it !
