Head-wind !
As much as I have enjoyed a few days w. wind in the back - the harder the change to headwind & heavy legs fealt ;-)
The legs were a bit tired after the previous 51km stage along w. general fatigue from taking the chance in R. Gallegos to update the website, upload pic. (and a few vid.clips for a danish newspaper)and prepare supplies for next 5-7days. Work was done by 3am. Then time for sleep untill 7am., where the first sms came.
Another kind of headwind was in store before heading out on the road:
- I had by mistake written that Sarah from Australia had exited the run after 7000km due to fatigue, but she informs me that it was due to other reasons - And Id like to appologize strongly for that !!!
I had wrongly interpreted that she had gotten slightly fatigued from 5000km & onwards (increasing freqwency of diseases & weightloss, decline of motivation - as it also happened to me in Africa later on in a big way, almost stopping me before reaching Cape Town).
It ceartainly shows one should be keen w. the choice of words; and next reports will be written with hopefully a more carefull expression :-)
Nb: This rep. is send the 15/1 due to lack of cellphone signal on the remote plains in Patagonia.
