Start 10:20am. at blue river-signboard "Niwureacu" river, at S. side of river-crossing on the N8-hwy to Maputo. 24c, allm. clear and l. wind. Finish 15:46pm. At blue km-marker "N1 399" on the N1/N8-hwy to Maputo. 29c, half o.c. and med. wind.

One day beforethe expected 17 000km mark of wr2 we celebrated Sarahs 33year birthday ! Im sure, if she had had her way, we'd have reached the mark today, but the first 16995km sits heavily in the legs and I try to weigh' each km carefully and find out how much is too Much for the day.

Today 42km was Enough.

But I still think she can celebrate her birthday w. good confidence: during the last year she has won the South African 6day race, the Sweden 6day race and 2. in the New York 10day race. By the way finishing well in front of the 1. male runner in the S. A. race :-)
