Start 11:40 am. at blue rd.sign "<- EN106 Montepuez, EN242/EN8 Nampula ->" in Motoro village on the hwy to Maputo. 30c, a few clouds and l. wind. Finish 16:14pm. At at blue city sign "Bem Vindo A Vila de Chiure" at S. end of Chiure city on the hwy to Maputo. 34c, humid and same.

First stage w. Sarah in Africa. It went fine and she quickly displayed a way of getting in contact and 'tune' w. the local people wich I dont have in the usual amount here in Africa (wich in many ways has made it more difficult for me. Usually, across other continents the ability to partly live into'the cultures has been my strength).

Speaking of reaching out, I had a meeting w. a representative of the athletic federation and an interview w. Mozambique radio. Both, set up by Antonius Klaus from denmark/Danida who has worked and lived in Mozambique for more than 10years. He has already proved a grand support to my logistics maneager Phil Essam and I !! A very positive surprise :-)
