Restday in Pemba, picking Sarah up in the small local airport. She did the first 7000km of the run w. me, from Nordkapp in Norway to Silifke in Turkey at the Mediteranean Sea, and its Great to have her here joining the run for 2 weeks, making it easier to summon the endurencefor the last 4-5000km in Africa :-)

.. One have to say: what COURAGE !! To jump on an airplaine leaving business and daily life behind (and not least conveniences as tap-water to wash in, reliable electricity and non-diarea food) to help overcoming distances in a contry w. a language she doesnt speak and an array of challenges she doesnt know about.

Those who are ultrarunners know her; a top-class runner w. 2 international wins just this season.. But, to both be succesfull on international elitelevel and have courage to seek up places wich in many ways can wreck havoc for the delicate maschine a top athlete is - thats is to have Guts :-)
