Start 09:55am. at "Localidade de Tororo, Posto .." at Tororo village, on rd.243 to Nampulo. 26c, o.c. and l. wind. Finish 13:07pm. At blue sign "Bem Vindos, Arco_Iris" in Niquoita village, on rd.243 to Nampulo. 31c, half o.c., humid and same.

A nice stage and enjoying the new tarmac road :-)

The landscape still a little eerie though; burnt off brown and dark, a random mixture of low trees & bushes; small clayhut-communitieswith 5-10km between. Hard to describe - unlike any terrain I've senn on this or any other continent. Mostly rolling hills w. a few roundish rock-outcroppings in the horizon every now and then. Each km or two a tall 'naked' tree sticks up, white trunk & no leaves.

.. Most of all reminds me of paintings by Salvador Dali !
