Start 10:42am. at white sign "Izaak Walton Inn-Embu wishes you a safe journey" at exit of Makutano village on the main rd/A2to Nairobi, 140km N. of Nairobi. 21c, few clouds and l. wind. Finish 14:19pm. At blue sign "Makuyu Substation, the Kenya Power & Lightning Co. Ltd.", on the main rd/A2 to Na.irobi, 115km N. of Nairobi. 30c, and same.
[Nb: there is a discrepancy between the expected dist. to Nairobi; maps, roadsigns
and gps indicate diff. dist.! There could be as little as 67km]

- Testing a new type of running shoe for Ecco so keeping the distance fairly short to give the body time to respond ! Quite unique rolling'/groundcontact and a-step-&-ahalf from what Im used to a running shoe looks... But not too bad at all :-)

Odd though; to run in a high tech test-shoe in the red african dust along the narrow tar road w. pesants working w. ox & horse plows in the mais and banana valleys below ;-)
