Start 09:55am., at tar-marker 227 600 on the main rd. from Addis Abeba to Moyale. 18c, oc. and l. wind. Finish 13:53pm., attar-marker 257 600 on the main rd. from Addis Abeba to Moyale. 27c, allm. oc. and same.

Still some stomack troubles, But we are getting VERY NEAR TO THE KENYAN BORDER :-)

Have used our tents for accomodation last 5days as we are in very remote areas. But everchanging stunning nature; at the moment w. many small antelopes, eagles and camels.

The 'expedition kitchen' where Tommy 'the gun' prepares dinner each evening has also been hit by the remoteness: last two weeks the meny is a steady diet of rice w. tuna on can. But he makes the best of it and I can sence that both of us are relived that this grotesquely bad contry is soon behind. We are beginning to meet people from Kenya - and - they are Great people, friendly, helpfull and w. a pleasant behavior. As in allmost all contries.

Ps: My family has kindly sent me a good supply of vitamines so even w. a limited diet its not a problem. Thanks :-)
