A Team !!!
After yesterdays report was written - the team finally arrived and found me under the parrot-tree :-)
Probably not very social; I fealt as communicative as a boxer after 13 rounds of knocks.. ;-))
But GREAT to have the support of Salamon, Taiij and Alex (cant understand his name in arameich language so we setteled w. Alex !).
The 42km of today w. anuphill climb of approx. 2000m alt. plus up & down the mountainvalleys would have taken two to three day to run unsupported w. the stroller as the road -if the word "road" makes any sence in this context - was the worst I have ever run on, including the 7500km run straight through Siberia during world run one in 2004.
It had it all: stone, rocks in every shape, goatpaths, gravel, earth, fine dust that stick in the eyes and a sun above wich along w. high altitude did its best to test a runner and his legs :-)
Some parts was grotesque steep and as you can see from the time, took a long while and a slow pace to run. But its done and over now !!! And life as a runner is not so bad afterall. Wouldnt change it and its intensity of experienses for anything :-)))
