An undiplomatic run.. ;-)

Todays run in Khartoum was divided into 2 sessions. A treadmill run & an evening run through the streets of Khartoum. Amongst others to test the situation reguarding wether its beginning to be safe to continue on the route again.

- I must say that I met ONLY friendliness throughout the run; and in general in Sudan :-)

The roadfinding, however, went a little less diplomatic... After a while my streetwise company revealed to have no clue of where we were. Eventually we reached a brick wall at the end of a maze of narrow mud-streets w. the Blue (orWhite ?) Nile somewhere at the other side of the wall; hidden in the twilight that is dense w. smell of evening cooking and courious & cheering voices to the background of eager honks from the 3wheel "tuk-tuk"s !

But nevertheless an enjoyable experiense.. :-)
