Quiet day in Cairo - for my part.. :-)

Its been great to relax and run and race here but now I long for the desert again. Tomorrow its the roads again. The Silence. The tent. The Stars above at night. The Nature. The simple life that somehow reminds me of how we were ment to live, once long ago :-) It gives joy and tremendous calm and meaning - even though I realise that to most there could be little less meaning than to run for 2 years.. ;-)
But since I have the ability, so far, to experience every step of the planet we live on - and try to understand and 'live' its many cultures and climates it also in that sence makes it a "must" in my life !

But while its one person running, its only possible by the daily help, friendshipand effort by people along the route. From Erik and Geir in Noway that helped me get a good start 500km above the Arctic Circle - to Dorte here in Cairoand Phil in Australia who w. grand persistance clears my way towards Equator and Sahara ! Without all the people, and not least Sarah who ran w. me the first 7000km, there would be not one chance that all these ideas and dreams becomes a daily reality for all to take part in !
