Cutting cultures..

Yesterday I chose that even hair you can get enough of - especially as the temp. is getting hotter as we get near the Middle East.

So I spent the evening in the bazaar in Pinthisar and found what I was looking for. But a haircut in a turkish town is a lenghtly business, w. shaking of hands, washing of ears, watching tv, discussing w. other customers waiting in the tiny shop, washing, re-rewashing of hair; along w. a little cutting of hair.
Starting w. a carefull inquirery reg. the type of haircut. Did I want the hair like this ? like that ? Since I had to let go of the glasses (-8,5) I had no real clue of what he was asking ;-)

It all eventually went well !

During todays 55km run we batteled a bid w. humidity but as the other days we were freqvently invited a cup of tea. This time we wellcomed the chance to catch the breath, and we didnt regret it :-)

There quickly gathered 20 people around us on the bench outside a groceryshop in Vize. The strong Turkish tea they refused to be paid for - but our story they wished to hear in all details :-)
Maps was brourght out and a discussion began: "Imsh Allah !!" - if god wants it so ! "Marshah Allah" - gods grace/god has allowed us (reg. the route so far :-)

.. Its friday, the main prayerday in muslim contries, and there is pleanty of time..
