Finish 16:36pm. At "Georgiu 30km" on km-marker 30 on rd.5c. 20c and same.

Sarah quickly proves her worth by insisting that we make it a 50km stage instead of a short 40'. Cool runner there !
Another experience of the day is an rumanian salesman who meets us several times and after hearing about the run each time brings a gift !! A pair of chocolate bars, vegetables etc. Each time cheering us on :-) As we continue we learn that he has told our story at the small shops that he visits along the main road - to the effect that people in the villages now are waiting for us and offer shouts of entusiasm from old men on benches, equally old women on donkeys and flocks of children make our steps a bit lighter :-)

By the way these villages in Southern Rumania has the feeling of "eternal sunday" where time seems to stand still among talking people on bences in front of their houses, sunrayz playing through the dust and horse- and donkey carriages patiently rolling by 'slow-motion pace..
