Distance today: 65.0 km (Accumulated: 3271.0 km)
Elapsed time: 06:41:52
Country: Europe

Start 08:30am. At "Hotel Opus 99", ul. Kosciuszki 9 in Gore. 17c, allm. overc. and l. wind. Alt. 125m, 1000hPa.
Finish 18:19pm. At exit of Lubiaz on r. 338. 25c, light overc. and same. Alt. 160m, 994hPa.

A fairly long stage (w. 2km extra to a good spot to put the tent afterthe finish ;-)
- I'd like to underline positives about Poland too, and Sarah really enjoys the peacefull, quiet, rural roads through old towns that timeseems to have passed by w. their cupplestone streets, old houses and 'babuskas' (old woman in colourfull traditional clothing) :-) peaking out from windows !
It is a joy to experience :-))

..But our stay last night at the posh' hotel Opus brought another Polish experience that we have had a little too many of: When we wanted to leave the hotel this morning the doors were securely locked ! Especially the fire-escape wich was double locked. We had an interesting 1/2 hour knocking at exitdoors at the back staircase in the apparently now empty hotel. How long would we remain 'guests'?
At 8am. a laughing member of the staff came and unlocked the doors...Why did we need to get out so early ??

There is only a few days of long stages to the Czech border :-) Btw: the Eagles "Hotel California" was playing from downstairs last night - for those who can remember the text there is a neat irony to appreciate ;-)
