Good company once again !! From the start in Copenhagen we enjoyed company by Leon (who is running with us all danish stages !), 'Razor' (a longtime ultra-running friend), May-Britt (nat.team ultrarunner whom I part-coach advice on her way to new p.b.'s :-), Henrik on bike (a great 'ambassador' for ultrarunning w. his commitment and couriousness as journalist - way back before "ultraløb" became a known term in danish language !! THANKS Henrik :-) , and not least Michael; journalist on denmarks main sports channel: Tv2 sporten. What is special about his participation is that he makes the extra effort of running w. us to better understand his subject (what a difference from "the 5 usual questions".. In return we carry w. us a small tv-camera and will send small broadcasts/vid. from Africa & the Middle-East :-) Today he kept up w. us untill exhaustion at 21km - 11 more than planned. Respect !!

But most respect belongs to our host: Alex Henriksen !Alex did a run around the island Sjælland also back when ultra' didnt belong to an athletes vocabulary - a run of ca. 316km in 2days w. a supportcar driven by his whife, a madress to sleep at roadside and an old pair of shoes :-) Alex still holds the danish record on 24h. w. 245km !
