Swedish outdoor life :-)
The stages across Sweden is the first that reminds me fully of the first world run, back in 2004-2005. Ofcourse it was winter then; minus 2 to minus 15c and snow. But the route was the same, just beeing Westbound this time around.
Today I began to get the first 'flash-backs' of the same road in winter closing. The heavy stroller, the steep hills (to a danish lowlander ;-), ice and snow, the narrow roads in hwy traffic; the struggle.
- Not that difficult this time, yet :-)
The Nature is at its best summer-image, despite spells of rain. Berries growing wild at roadside, birds, light birch forrests, deep olivegreen pineplantations, quiet lakes - and not least the Swedish "allemandsrättan": all peoples right; the right to pitch your tent on any piece of land as long as you keep the nature clean and respect a polite distance to houses/gardens. Great :-) And much different to the common concept of "private" meaning for limited people to enjoy - why not share with respect; afterall we are all just lending space on the earth in our limited time :-)
Today we are staying at a campingground, though. Djulöbadets Camping and Stugby - in order to have a hot shower and wash clothes. The owner has lended us keys to the dryingmachine !! Tack så mücket :-))
